Google search is incredible tool for saving time and it keeps getting better. Here are a few handy search tips that I love and then take a look at Google's latest search feature called Google Instant. 
Handy Search Tips
The examples below in bold can be typed directly into the search box.
- Find what words mean. define:antinomy
- Search for "flight" but NOT "airline": flight -airline
- Find services in your area: doctor + Postcode
- Currency Conversion: 150 USD in AUD
- Convert from metric to imperial or vice-versa: 2.5kg in lbs
- Search a specific site: site:smh.com.au hogan
- Local movie times: movies sydney Weather Forecast: weather sydney

Results in an Instant...
Google suggest that you can save 2-5 seconds per search. "If everyone uses Google Instant globally, we estimate this will save more than 3.5 billion seconds a day".
